Terms of Use

Still being finalized. Our governing jurisdiction and dispute-resolution venue are still being finalized and will be added here before production launch.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Hyndle Labs Ltd. ("Hyndle", "we", "us", or "our"), and govern use of Hyndle-operated websites, applications, APIs, test environments, and interfaces (the Interface). By using the Interface, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

Eligibility and security

You must be legally capable of entering into these terms and at least 18, or the age of legal majority where you live if higher. You are responsible for your wallet, private keys, recovery phrase, devices, passwords, and authentication factors. Hyndle cannot recover a lost private key or reverse a transaction authorised by your wallet.

Reservations and payment priority

A reservation request does not create ownership and does not lock a name before payment. More than one user may request the same available name. Within an availability round, the first valid on-chain reservation payment confirmed under the protocol rules proceeds to review; competing requests may become superseded.

The reservation fee is a separate, non-refundable protocol fee for submitting and processing a request, except where a refund is expressly required by law. Payment does not guarantee approval, registration, future utility, or value. A failed or conflicting blockchain transaction may still consume network gas.

Approval, commitment, and minting

Approval is not ownership. An approved user must publish a valid commitment within the stated approval window. The commitment must mature before reveal and must be revealed before its contract and authorization deadlines. If a deadline is missed, the authorization can no longer be used and the name may return to availability under the protocol rules.

Ownership begins only when the mint transaction succeeds on-chain. Contract state is authoritative for token ownership.

Registration term, renewal, and reclaim

Names are registered for the selected number of whole years and require renewal. After expiration, the current owner has the protocol-defined grace period to renew. When grace ends, the name may be reclaimed by another user. You are responsible for monitoring deadlines and network conditions.

Fees, gas, and taxes

You are responsible for reservation, registration, renewal, and other protocol fees, together with Base network gas. Gas is paid in ETH and may be charged even when a transaction fails. ETH can change substantially in fiat value. You are responsible for applicable taxes and reporting obligations.

Cookies, storage, and analytics

The Interface uses essential cookies and browser storage for authentication, security, preferences, consent state, and transaction recovery. Disabling or clearing essential storage can sign you out or interrupt browser-assisted recovery, but cannot cancel a transaction already submitted to a blockchain.

Optional analytics is controlled by your cookie preference and is not required for transactional features. See our Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy for details.

Names, profiles, and third-party rights

You are responsible for names, profile content, resolver records, links, and addresses you submit. Registration does not grant trademark, copyright, publicity, or other rights in a word, identity, person, organisation, or brand.

You must not use Hyndle to impersonate others, mislead users, phish, infringe rights, distribute unlawful content, bypass name-protection rules, or interfere with security or availability. Hyndle may restrict access through its Interface where reasonably necessary, but may be unable to alter valid on-chain state.

Blockchain and third-party risk

Blockchain transactions are generally irreversible. Smart contracts, wallets, networks, marketplaces, RPC services, explorers, and other third-party systems can fail or change. Hyndle does not control those independent systems and does not guarantee that a marketplace will enforce NFT royalty information.

Testnet and preview assets have no promised value and must not be treated as production assets.

Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Interface is provided as is and as available, without warranties of merchantability, fitness, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, or security. Nothing in the Interface is legal, tax, investment, or financial advice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hyndle and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss; lost profits, data, goodwill, names, or digital assets; or loss arising from wallet compromise, blockchain activity, missed deadlines, reclaim, third-party services, or unauthorised access. Final liability terms must be completed with the governing entity and counsel before launch.

Governing terms and contact

Our governing law and dispute-resolution forum are still being finalized and will be published here before production use. Until then, any dispute should first be raised through good-faith written negotiation by contacting info@hyndle.app.

Hyndle may update these terms as the Interface, protocol, or law changes. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
