Transfers
An active Hyndle name is a standard ERC-721 token and can be transferred with compatible wallets and marketplaces.
Transfer rules
- the name must be active
- the ERC-721 owner or approved operator initiates the transfer
- transfers are disabled after expiration
- every real owner-to-owner transfer increments
ownershipGeneration
Resolver isolation
Resolver records are scoped to both the token and its ownership generation. After transfer, the new owner does not inherit records written by the previous owner as active records.
The same isolation applies after reclaim. Historical chain events remain available, but old resolver state cannot control the new ownership cycle.
Trading
Hyndle does not require a proprietary marketplace. Tokens can be listed on compatible third-party NFT marketplaces. Marketplace availability and royalty behavior depend on each marketplace's indexing and policies.
