Flat namespace

Hyndle uses a flat namespace. A dot is an allowed separator inside one complete name. It does not create a parent, child, or subdomain relationship.

musk
elon.musk
tesla.musk

These are three unrelated assets. Owning musk does not grant control over elon.musk, and transferring musk does not affect either dotted name.

Why this matters

  • Every name has its own deterministic nameId.
  • Every name is reserved and minted independently.
  • Resolver records belong to the exact name and ownership generation.
  • Pricing uses effective alphanumeric length, not label depth.

For example, anything.you.want is a single NFT. It is not a subdomain of you.want or want.
